Rules of Practice Amendments 2018

  • The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit has adopted amendments to Federal Circuit Rules of Practice 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 44.  The final notice, order of adoption, and adopted amendments are available on the court’s website.

    These new rules apply to all cases and documents filed on or after December 1, 2018.  On November 30, 2018, a revised version of the Federal Circuit Rules of Practice and Federal Rules of Appellate Procedure will be on the court’s website.  Please direct any questions to the Clerk’s Office at 202-275-8055.  [November 7, 2018]

  • The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit proposes to amend Federal Circuit Rules of Practice 25, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, and 44, effective December 1, 2018.  Public comments must be submitted to the Clerk’s Office on or before October 31, 2018.  The full notice and proposed amendments are available on the court’s website.
