Phone service and public service counters for the Clerk’s Office and the Circuit Library will be closed in the National Courts Building on Thursday, January 30, 2020, from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. (Eastern).  Electronic filing will remain available.

The Clerk’s Office has released an updated version of its Guide for Oral Argument, which incorporates several changes including a revised Courtroom Decorum Policy and new Guidelines for Counsel During Argument.  This document and other resources are available on the Argument Resources page of the court’s website.   

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be closed to the public at 1:00 p.m. on January 7, 2020, due to inclement weather.  Electronic case filing remains available through CM/ECF and electronic filing deadlines remain in effect.  Paper filings due on January 7, 2020, will be deemed as timely filed if received by the next day the court is open to the public.   The Clerk’s Office will provide limited telephone and email services to the public for the remainder of the day.

The Clerk’s Office and the Circuit Library phone service and customer service counter in the National Courts Building will be closed on Wednesday, December 18, 2018, from 1:00 p.m. to 3 p.m. (Eastern).  Electronic filing will remain available.

The scheduled extended maintenance on the Federal Circuit's electronic filing system (CM/ECF) has ended.  Electronic filing and document access services are now available.
