Pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 48, a panel of the Federal Circuit Court of Appeals will hear oral arguments at Washington & Lee University School of Law in Lexington, Virginia, on Wednesday, March 23, 2016. Oral arguments will begin at 10 a.m. in the Millhiser Moot Court Room. In accordance with routine practice, the names of the panel judges will not be released prior to the morning of scheduled arguments. Additional information will be available on the Court’s website at the Arguments/Upcoming Arguments tab.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be closed on Tuesday, January 26, 2016, due to the inclement weather. For purposes of computation of time and for motions to enlarge time under Fed. R. App. Proc. 26 and Fed. Cir. R. 26, January 26, 2016, will be considered a "legal holiday."

Due to expected inclement weather, Clerk's Office and Court staff have the option of using unscheduled leave or unscheduled telework. Staff who arrive for work will have 4 hour staggered early departure. Chambers staff will follow the directions of the judge. The Clerk's Office will close at noon.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will host an open judicial conference for the bench and bar on Monday, April 11, 2016.

The Chief Justice of the United States will be in attendance.

The open conference will be followed by a judges conference on Tuesday, April 12, 2016.
