New Way to Contact the Clerk's Office

The Clerk’s Office is pleased to announce the creation of two new phone lines to assist the public. Beginning Monday, September 11, 2017, all inquiries to the Clerk’s Office should be directed as follows: 

  • For general questions, please call the Clerk’s Office main line at 202-275-8000. 
  • For case-related questions on cases that have not yet been scheduled for argument, as well as questions on how to file documents in CM/ECF and other procedural matters, call the Operations Team at 202-275-8055.
  • For case-related questions on cases that have been scheduled for argument, calendar-related questions, and post-opinion matters, call the Court Services Team at 202-275-8035. 

Please note that the Clerk’s Office will discontinue the practice of answering procedural and filing-related questions by email as of this date. However, the Clerk’s Office is available to answer your questions by phone Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Eastern), by calling one of the above listed numbers.
