Announcements in 2019

Effective April 8, 2019, the court will begin notifying counsel which, if any, conflict dates are accepted as scheduling conflicts for oral argument.  The full notice is available online.

Due to renovations on the fourth floor, the Clerk’s Office will temporarily relocate to the Federal Circuit Library on the second floor beginning Tuesday, March 12, 2019.   All public services, including counsel argument check-in and public filings, will be available at the Federal Circuit Library reference desk as of that date.  Courtroom access and availability will remain unaffected, and all Clerk’s Office phone lines and email accounts will remain the same.

The United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will open on time on Friday, March 1, 2019. Unscheduled leave and telecommuting are authorized as approved by supervisors. Chambers staff should follow the policy of their respective judges.

Due to inclement weather, the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit will be closed on Wednesday, February 20, 2019. For purposes of computation of time and for motions to enlarge time under Fed. R. App. Proc. 26 and Fed. Cir. R. 26, February 20, 2019, will be considered a “legal holiday.” Telework-ready employees should follow their office’s policies.
