Notice of Proposed Amendments to the Federal Circuit Rules of PracticeThe United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit gives notice that it proposes to amend Federal Circuit Rules of Practice 1, 3, 4, 5, 8, 10, 11, 12, 15, 17, 18, 21, 24, 25, 25.1 (new rule), 26, 26.1, 27, 28, 28.1, 29, 30, 31, 32, 32.1, 33, 33.1, 34, 35, 36, 39, 40, 41, 45, 46, 47, 47.2, 47.3, 47.4, 47.5, 47.7, 47.9, 47.10, 47.12, 50, 52, 54, and the Federal Circuit Attorney Discipline Rules. The full notice and a summary of proposed amendments, a redlined copy of the proposed amendments, and a clean copy of the proposed amendments are available for public review on the court's website. If adopted, the amendments would take effect on July 1, 2020.
Public comments must be received by the Clerk of Court on or before May 27, 2020, and may be submitted either by email to FederalCircuitRules@cafc.uscourts.gov or by mail to Proposed Rules Comments 2020, Clerk’s Office, U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, 717 Madison Place, N.W., Washington, D.C. 20439.
